The tigers got Adam Everett short stop for the minnesota twins for a one year contract. He has had a .976 percentage in the field so if you ask me thats pretty good. last season he batted .213 in 127 at bats with the twins. He has had a .246 career batting average.
They signed Ramon Santiago IF to a 1 year contract extensen through 2009. Santiago batted a .282. with four home runs and 18 RBI's last season despit only playing 58 games.
The Royals have picked up Kyle Fanrswoth P who i think was a free agent after this season. He was signed to a 2year $9.25 million dollar contract. The past 10 seasons and for a few teams we has had a 30-48 record with a 4.47 ERA. As he played for the Tigers he had a 6.75 ERA.
The tigers traded Matt Joyce OF for the tigers for Edwin Jackson a pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Tigers have just recently picked up Catcher Gerald Laird from the Rangers for 2 minor league pitchers. The 29 year old catcher batted a .276 with six homers and 4i RBI's in only 96 games last season.
